BMD-East is a two-step wholesale distributor of building materials and specialty building products to retail building supply dealers, lumber yards, and home centers.
Formerly Interstate Distributors, BMD has combined its’ 75 years in business with Interstate’s 35 years of experience distributing to North Carolina, South Carolina, and the surrounding areas.
We work with quality vendor partners to promote and distribute superior products. Our strong vendor relationships enable us to provide existing products to our customers while identifying new products that allow our customers to be competitive in their marketplace. Our knowledgeable sales force works to bring additional value to our customers by providing information, training, and promotions.
Our service territory covers Central and Eastern North Carolina and Northeastern South Carolina.
